As a company, we are committed to Preserving California’s Legacy and Providing for California’s Future. Guided by our core values of conservation and good stewardship, our mission is to responsibly use our land and resources to meet the conservation, housing, employment and lifestyle needs of California, and as a public corporation, to create value for our shareholders.
This mission, which we call the Tejon Ranch Vision, involves an unparalled commitment to conservation, evidenced by the 2008 Tejon Ranch Conservation and Land Use Agreement. This agreement, the largest private conservation effort in California history, will result in the permanent conservation of up to 240,000 acres – 90% of Tejon Ranch. The Tejon Ranch Vision also calls for the continuation of the Ranch’s historic farming and ranching operations, and the use of ten percent of our land to create high-quality, environmentally sensitive master planned communities: Tejon Industrial Complex, a 1,450-acre commercial/industrial center located at the junction of Interstate 5 and Highway 99; Centennial, a sustainable new town community in Los Angeles County;and a world-class exceptional mountain resort community called Tejon Mountain Village.
